WOW! I don't know where to begin with Michael and Abbey Hansen! They did the most incredible job capturing our engagement photos and wedding photos!
Michael stood out to me when I met him at the KC Engaged show, after I was recently engaged. I was very overwhelmed as I was walking around and talking to people. When I came a across Hansen Photo KC, I almost kept walking. Michael talked to me and really engaged me about why their business is so different. Michael and Abbey do their photo business on the side of their full time jobs. They put so much effort into each couple, family, senior, etc that they shoot for! They do it because it is truly their passion- and they ROCK at it! We met them out to dinner and my husband and I clicked with them way too well right off the bat!
Going into our engagement photo session I did not really have a vision, just wanted good photos. Michael and Abbey truly picked the most beautiful locations and the best time of day. They made Grant and I look like we knew what we were doing- we did not feel uncomfortable once! The shoot was honestly so fun and made us excited for the wedding day.
Come wedding day, we had a long call with Michael about everything wedding- from timeline to what specific photos we wanted. Michael and Abbey were following the timeline to the T and helped everyone stay on the same page and go where they needed to go. We did a golden hour shoot and it was the most best thing ever! They made it so fun, romantic, and relaxing... and the pictures brought tears to my eyes! Also, they stayed over time at our wedding just so they could get our sparkler exit shots! Such great people, truly! They made us laugh so much during everything!
Their editing is so pure and natural! We did not feel fake or look a different color. These two do amazing work together and you will not be let down! Absolutely an amazing photography business and I would recommend to anyone and everyone!! We love Hansen Photo KC!!
